In life, every person faces road blocks that have to become encountered. Occasionally they are good, and other occasions they are awful. I think it is the individual coping with these fresh experiences that leads to significant rewards and life skills that make growing up and moving into contemporary society easier.
This is shown inside the text we studied in the lecture; ‘The Account of Tom Brennon' by simply JC Bourke which is a history told throughout the eyes of 17 yr old Tom Brennon. He has to encounter fresh experiences because of a horrific car accident his brother Daniel caused, eliminating two and paralyzing his cousin. The whole family suffers because they are forced off their hometown of Mumbilly because of society's a reaction to the fatality of their family and friends.
