Abstract: tactics have become a prevalent terms among contemporary management exercises in contemporary societies. While the concept of strategy is still quite questionable and vague, approach per se is known as a flowing and dynamic process, which is followed, with or without motives, to obtain and sustain competitive advantages. By analysing particular strategic changes in Philips and Haier, this kind of paper should understand the mechanics of approaches and their utilisations to obtain and sustain competitive advantages.

INTRODUCTION

In contemporary communities, strategy has turned into a prevalent terminology among modern day management discipline. However , the meaning of strategy is quite hazy among past literatures. Mintzberg, et approach (2003: 9) integrated previous various definitions of strategy and defined it in a much larger concept: firstly, strategy is a plan, which is often used to establish course for organisations (ibid. ); secondly, strategy can be a trick, a specific ‗maneuver‘ intended to outwit competitors (ibid.: 4); finally, strategy can be described as pattern, a consistency in intended or unintended conduct (ibid. ); fourthly, technique is a location, a means of locating a great organisation inside the competitive environment (ibid.: 6); and lastly, strategy is a point of view, the integrate way of perceiving the world simply by organisations (ibid.: 7). These types of abundant explanations of approach force us to think again about the approaches implemented in modern organizations. In fact , approach per se is actually a flowing and dynamic process, which is implemented,
